Dues
In the past, the organization’s revenue has been derived solely from the dues paid by the membership. Founding members were required to purchase stock ($1600, later reduced to $900) and pay monthly dues of $100 for primary care and $400 for specialist. In order to startup a new IPA and serve our member’s best interest, this was necessary. Our goal as an organization is not to profit but to serve. With that in mind, we strive to find ways to bring the most benefit to our members at the least possible cost. Many of our members offset their dues directly by participation in one of our many Managed Care Contracts. Others have realized net savings greater than cost through participation in our ProCUREment program.
As our membership grows our ability to reduce dues and increase benefits increases. The current dues paid by NWGPA members are as follows:
| Membership/Credentialing Fee: | $500 (one time) |
| Primary Care Physicians: | $100 per month |
| Non-Procedural Sub-Specialist: | $200 per month |
| Specialist: | $300 per month |
